Got another credit and finished my algebra class💪✨

Hey everyone! So thrilled to share that I finally conquered my Edgenuity Common Core Algebra I course! It wasn't always easy, and there were definitely moments I felt stuck, but getting that '100% complete' on my dashboard felt incredible, especially seeing that 79.7% actual grade. Since many of you might be going through something similar, I wanted to share some of my personal strategies that really helped me get through without losing my mind. One of the biggest struggles with Edgenuity for me was staying consistent. It's so easy to procrastinate when you're working independently. What worked for me was setting small, achievable daily goals. Instead of thinking 'I need to finish this whole unit,' I'd aim for 'I'll complete two lessons today' or 'I'll get through this quiz.' This made the workload feel less daunting. Also, don't underestimate the power of a good study playlist or even rewarding yourself with a short break after completing a challenging section. Okay, let's talk about those videos! I know the 'edgenuity skip videos extension' is a common search, and while I didn't use any extensions, I did find ways to make the video content more efficient. Sometimes, the videos can be a bit slow, so I'd often adjust the playback speed in the settings to 1.5x or even 2x. I also learned to actively take notes during the videos, even if it felt like extra work. It really helped me retain information for the assignments and quizzes. Don't just passively watch! If you're really struggling with a concept, don't be afraid to pause, rewind, or even look up explanations on YouTube or Khan Academy. Edgenuity's resources are a starting point, but external help can be a lifesaver. The quizzes and tests are where your knowledge really gets tested. Make sure you understand the 'actual grade' vs. 'overall grade' distinction. For me, seeing that 79.7% actual grade for Algebra I was a huge relief after all the effort. Before taking a quiz, I'd always review my notes and any practice problems. If I got something wrong, I'd go back and understand why before moving on. Don't rush through the lessons just to get to the quiz; taking your time upfront will save you headaches later. Algebra can be tricky, but practice is key. Work through all the practice problems Edgenuity provides. If you need more, search online for extra worksheets on specific topics. Don't be afraid to ask for help from a teacher, tutor, or even a friend if you get stuck. Explaining a problem out loud to someone else (or even just to yourself!) can sometimes clarify things.
