Natural hair health

Y’all I realize I need to get back to my roots when my hair thrived and flourished. These were the times I did low maintenance styles like wash n go’s primarily. I only straightened mine and my daughter’s hair on holidays. I washed and deep conditioned my hair twice a week with Queen Helene. Another thing, to my natural girlies you do not need to buy all that expensive crap to get results. Just wash and deep condition @ least once monthly, moisturize the hair using the old loc method or whatever works for you. Also, don’t skip those trims in between! Feel free to share your hair tips below 😃

The key elements to thriving natural hair include moisture retention, gentle cleansing, protective styling, and regular trims. Deep conditioning twice a week, as practiced with Queen Helene in the original content, helps restore vital nutrients and repair damage. For those concerned about cost, it’s encouraging to know that expensive products aren't always necessary. Simple, natural ingredients and methods, such as the LOC (Liquid, Oil, Cream) method for moisturizing, can be very effective and affordable. Protective styling like wash and go's or braid outs reduces daily manipulation and minimizes breakage. Limiting heat styling to special occasions, such as holidays, also helps preserve hair thickness and length. Regular trims prevent split ends from traveling up the hair shaft, ensuring your hair stays healthy and strong. Moreover, consistent gentle detangling and use of sulfate-free shampoos prevent hair dryness.
