I need a new show to watch
Please give me recommendations. I love tv/storytelling entertainment. While my favourite genre are fantasy/supernatural, sci-fi, and romance, I don't shy away from horror, comedy and non-fiction.
Like, Alchemy of Souls was so good (finished it on Monday) I feel like the next thing I watch won't live up to my expectations 😭
Last week I finished Wolf King and I live the animation but my good was it butt. Sooo ruched! Critical character developments and story building was missing. They should've put more effort into the show. It's like they wanted us to watch this with our eyes closed. It's a show to watch when you're doing the dishes or something - great for background noise. Which sucks because the story is fun! The magic is there, the writing just isn't.
Pluto was great! My sister told me it was related to Astro Boy and I can see that now. The show follows an advanced AI robot detective on the hunt - the world's greatest AI robots are being targeted / killed one by one and no one knows how or why. Mix that in with peoples fear of AI, robots and advanced AI sentient beings, Pluto felt like I was watching something that could happen soon. It was an alluring show. I had a lot of questions about kindness, humanity, and being.
Pantheon is sort of similar but in here, your mind can be uploaded into a virtual reality. That's what happens to the main characters father, and a whole lot of problems follow and conspiracies are revealed. Really enjoyed this show!
I didn't want to watch The Glory because I hate bullying scenes but my sister kept pushing so I relented and I'm so glad I did. This show is FANTASTIC! Great revenge story, storytelling, action, consideration—I love how everything was handled. The ending was also really satisfying.
Anyways, I hope I find something good to watch soon. I have time and am enjoying just lazing around.
