DIY NEEDOH Dr Pepper Taba Squishy… No Kit 😳
DIY HOMEMADE NEEDOH TABA DR PEPPER SQUISHY 🥤😳
No kit… no clear balloon… just stuff at home 👀
I made a Dr Pepper taba-style squishy and it actually turned out SO satisfying 😍 Would you squish it or drink it?! 😂👇
🧪 WHAT I USED:
Hair gel (clear)
A little baking soda (to thicken)
Cling wrap
Clear packing tape
Optional: food coloring + tiny beads
Sharpies red and black
✨ RECIPE (easy DIY):
Mix hair gel + a pinch of baking soda
→ makes it thicker + squishier
Add coloring if you want that soda look 🥤
Put mixture in 2–3 layers of cling wrap
Twist + secure with a rubber band
Wrap the outside with clear packing tape
→ this gives it that shiny “Needoh taba” look
🔥 PRO TIP:
For a clear jelly cube look, shape it into a cube and don’t overfill 👀
You can make a cube with tape and leave the top open to fill with a red balloon.

Hey everyone! So, you've probably seen those super satisfying Needoh squishies all over your feed, especially the Dr Pepper ones. I was totally obsessed with getting my hands on one, but they can be hard to find or a bit pricey. That’s when I decided, why not try making my own homemade Dr Pepper Needoh squishy right here at home? And let me tell you, it was surprisingly easy and SO rewarding! One of the biggest questions I see people asking is, 'is the Dr Pepper Needoh real?' or 'dr pepper needoh real or fake?'. It's important to remember that these are squishies for fun and stress relief, not for drinking! Just like the image says, 'THIS ISN'T REAL SODA.' My DIY version definitely isn't real soda either, but it gives you that cool, iconic Dr Pepper look and an amazing squishy feel. It's all about replicating the aesthetic without a kit. When I first started, I wondered, how to make a homemade Needoh without all the special ingredients? Turns out, you likely have most of what you need already! The core of my 'recipe' was clear hair gel. I've found that thicker hair gels work best for that dense, satisfying squish. If your gel is too runny, a tiny pinch of baking soda really helps to thicken it up and give it more body. Don't go overboard, though, or it might become too firm! For the outer layer, good quality cling wrap is key. I layered mine 2-3 times to prevent any leaks, and then the clear packing tape is what really seals the deal, giving it that glossy, smooth 'taba' finish that feels just like a store-bought Needoh. If you're struggling to get that perfect shape, try wrapping it tightly and smoothing out air bubbles as you go. I also experimented with different colorings. For my Dr Pepper squishy, a few drops of red food coloring gave it that perfect dark reddish-brown hue. But you could totally get creative! Imagine a 'root beer needoh' with brown coloring or even a 'dr pepper nice cube' if you shape it differently. The original article mentioned shaping it into a cube for a jelly cube look, which is a fantastic idea to explore. You could even draw on custom labels with sharpies to mimic your favorite soda brands. A pro tip I discovered: if your squishy feels a bit too sticky even after taping, you can lightly dust it with cornstarch or baby powder, then wipe off the excess. This helps reduce tackiness. And for longevity, try to keep your homemade Needoh away from sharp objects and extreme temperatures. It’s a fun, inexpensive way to get into the viral squishy trend, and honestly, the satisfaction of making something so cool yourself is unbeatable. So, if you've been curious about how to make a Dr Pepper squishy or a needoh squishy at home, give this a try! It’s a game-changer for homemade fidget toys.
