How do YOU go about reading / organizing your TBR?

✨ I am not sure what I was thinking when I started this project other than I really need to knock out reading some of my physical TBR. I thought it would be cute to make a TBR jar using this cute little vending machine I found.

✨ I did not realize how many books I actually own 😆😅😬 Now I’ve been wrapping over a month and I’m well over 300 books (NOT including complete series. I only included whichever book in the series I need to read next.)

✨ Any who… how do you go about reading or organizing your TBR ? Do you have a lot books too? Or am I just cray cray?

... Read moreOrganizing your TBR (To Be Read) can be both exciting and overwhelming, especially if you're faced with a stack of unread books. Many readers, like you, may have a physical TBR mountain that seems insurmountable. It's essential to find a method that works for you, whether it be a simple list or a more interactive approach like a TBR jar. A TBR jar can add an element of fun, as you draw titles randomly and let spontaneity guide your reading choices. Furthermore, breaking your TBR down into manageable chunks can be immensely helpful. Consider categorizing your books by genre, author, or even length. This technique makes it easier to select your next read based on your mood or available time. Another trend gaining traction is creating a visual TBR board, where you can display your collection creatively. This not only motivates you to read but also allows others to see your unread books, fostering conversations and recommendations. If you've decided to wrap your TBR and make a jar, don’t forget to involve your reading community. Sharing your journey on platforms like Lemon8 can provide accountability and ideas from fellow book lovers. Engaging questions, like how they organize their TBR, can spark exciting discussions. In addition, reader challenges such as 'Read Your Bookshelf' motivate participants to finally tackle those untamed piles of novels! Ultimately, remember that the journey of reading is personal. Embrace the chaos of your collection and be kind to yourself as you find your unique way to enjoy your stacked books. Happy reading!

My toxic trait is that I’d unwrap it and then not want to read it 😭
