Golden pothos
I’ve been looking for something to go into this terra-cotta pot forever now. The Potos was getting kind long so I was like “ Why not start a new pot”

Golden Pothos, also known as Epipremnum aureum, is a beloved houseplant prized for its attractive heart-shaped leaves and low maintenance needs. From personal experience, repotting a Golden Pothos into a terra-cotta pot can significantly improve the plant’s health. Terra-cotta provides excellent drainage and helps regulate soil moisture, which is crucial since overwatering is a common cause of root rot in Pothos. When my Pothos started to outgrow its original container, I noticed the leaves becoming a bit leggy. That’s a signal it’s ready for repotting or propagation. Cutting healthy vines just below a node and placing them in water or moist soil is an easy and rewarding way to propagate. Within a few weeks, roots develop, and you can pot the new plants separately. I also found that placing the Pothos in indirect light keeps the golden variegation vibrant without stressing the leaves. Too much direct sunlight can cause leaf burn, while too little light may make the plant lose its patterning. Joining communities focused on houseplants and propagation can provide ongoing support and inspiration. Sharing the journey and exchanging tips with fellow indoor jungle lovers enriches the experience and helps keep your plants thriving. Remember, consistent care and attention show that actions truly speak louder than words when it comes to nurturing plants.
