What's the step you've been putting off? 📶
Some of us are stuck—waiting for God to write our next move in the sky, waiting for fireworks, a miracle, something loud and undeniable.
But what if the real reason you haven’t moved forward… is because you’ve overlooked the simplicity of what He’s already said?
Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Notice it says lamp—not spotlight. God gives us just enough light to take the next step, not the whole journey. That means we don’t always get to see the big picture. But we do get His Word, His voice, and His presence to guide us.
We want the ending, but God is asking for our obedience at the beginning.
Maybe the step He’s already given you is:
Start reading your Bible again.
Stop replying to that toxic DM.
Be honest with someone about your struggles.
Ask for prayer.
Apply for that job or say yes to the opportunity.
God often works through the small and ordinary. You don’t need to wait for a “sign in the sky” when you have His Word in your hands and His Spirit in your heart.
The truth is, obedience is the pathway to breakthrough. You don’t need to see the whole staircase to take the first step.
