Time to step up
You’ll never know you need saving if you don’t think you’re lost. You think you’re doing fine because you’re not out robbing banks or hurting people. But deep down, you know something’s off.
The anger. The shame. The addiction. The guilt you keep laughing off. The emptiness you feel when you're alone.
You’ve got scars—maybe some you gave yourself, some others gave you. You’ve done things you don’t talk about. You’ve buried stuff so deep it’s almost like it didn’t happen.
But it did.
And here’s the truth: You’re not okay. And you don’t have to pretend to be.
Romans 3:23 says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” That includes you. That includes me.
You didn’t just mess up. You sinned. You rebelled against God. That’s not meant to crush you—it’s meant to wake you up.
Jesus didn’t come to save the people who already looked clean. He came for the dirty. The screwed up. The ones who know they can’t fake it anymore.
You can’t be healed until you admit you’re sick. You can’t be saved until you admit you’re drowning.
But when you do—everything changes.
He doesn’t shame you. He doesn’t walk away. He steps in.
And the weight you’ve been carrying? He lifts it.
The darkness? He shines right through it.
Question to wrestle with:
What’s one part of your life you’ve been hiding—because you’re afraid it makes you too far gone?
