Don't assume God's answer!

Don’t Assume You Know What God Wants You to Do

Ever been in a situation where you thought, “I got this” — and you didn’t?

Maybe you reacted on impulse. Maybe you copied what worked for you last time. Maybe you just assumed you already knew how to handle it.

David could’ve done the same. In 1 Chronicles 14:10, the Philistines came to fight him. David had fought them before. He could’ve said, “Easy. I’ve done this. I know what to do.”

But he didn’t.

Instead, David stopped. He asked God: “Shall I go up against them?” And God told him yes — but later in the chapter, when the Philistines came back, God told him to fight in a completely different way.

Same enemy. Different strategy.

That’s the point. Just because God led you one way before doesn’t mean He’ll do it the same way next time. You can’t just run on auto-pilot. You can’t assume your plan is His plan.

If you do, you might rush into something without His covering. And when you move without Him, you risk making a mess you can’t clean up.

So, what do you do?

Pause before you act. Even if you “know” the answer.

Ask God first. Not as a last resort. As your first move.

Be ready for Him to change the plan. Sometimes He’ll lead you the opposite way you expect.

Trust His way over your comfort. Obedience > familiarity.

It’s not about doing what you think is right. It’s about doing it how God says to do it.

Because the right move at the wrong time — or in the wrong way — can still be the wrong move.

“DON’T MIX WHAT GOD SEPARATED”
People are quick to judge, quick to label, and quick to speak without fully understanding. But the Word of God does not contradict itself. In Revelation, the white horse and the pale horse are clearly separate—one is not the other. When we read Scripture, we must slow down, seek truth, and not assu
