Do you believe the lie that you’re too far gone?
Maybe you’ve messed up so many times you’ve lost count. Maybe you carry shame from choices you made that still haunt you. The world might have written you off. People may have walked away. Even you might not believe you can change. But here’s the truth: God hasn’t walked away.
Romans 5:8 says, “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Notice that—while we were still sinners. Not after we cleaned ourselves up. Not after we proved we were worthy. Right in the middle of our worst mess, Jesus went to the cross. That means no matter how far you think you’ve fallen, the door to forgiveness is wide open.
Think of Paul in the Bible—he literally hunted down Christians before he met Jesus. If anyone seemed “too far gone,” it was him. Yet God not only saved him but used him to spread the gospel across the world. That’s what grace does. It doesn’t just clean you up; it rewrites your story.
You are not beyond God’s reach. His love doesn’t have a limit. The cross proves that. Jesus didn’t die for people who had it all figured out—He died for sinners like us, so we could have new life in Him.
Don’t let shame keep you from the one place you’ll actually find healing. Don’t let the lie win. The truth is this: You are never too far gone for God to save.
