Worship Isn’t About the Size but the sacrifice 🪙
You ever feel like you got nothing left to give? Like life already took the best of you, and all that’s left is scraps? Maybe you think, “God doesn’t want this mess. He wants the rich, the strong, the ones who’ve got it all together.”
But Jesus flipped that idea upside down.
One day He watched people dropping money into the temple. The rich rolled up, tossing in their leftovers like it was pocket change. Then came a widow—broke, struggling, probably wondering how she’d make it through the week. She only had two small coins. That’s it. And she gave them.
Jesus said she gave more than all the others. Why? Because the rich gave what they wouldn’t miss. She gave what cost her. She trusted God when it didn’t make sense.
Listen, giving isn’t just for the wealthy. It’s not about dollar signs—it’s about faith. If you wait until you “have more” before you give, you ’ll never do it. God’s not asking for what you don’t have—He’s asking for the heart behind what you do have.
So maybe you’re broke, maybe you’re tired, maybe you’re just hanging on. Don’t think you’ve got nothing to bring. God sees your two coins. He sees your faith when you put Him first, even when it hurts. That kind of giving shakes heaven.
Your little in God’s hands? That’s more powerful than the richest man’s leftovers.
