The ultimate act of worship!

Jesus didn’t just talk about worship—He lived it. The Bible says, “He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross” (Philippians 2:8).

Think about that. The Son of God, who spoke the universe into existence, gave up His throne, His rights, His glory, and came down here. He didn’t roll up in power and wealth—He came as a servant. And He didn’t just serve—He let Himself be beaten, spit on, mocked, and nailed to a cross He didn’t deserve. Why? Because real worship looks like laying down your life.

That’s the ultimate picture of worship: sacrifice. Jesus poured Himself out for us. Not leftovers. Not “what was easy.” Everything.

So what does that mean for us? It means worship isn’t about singing the loudest or crying the hardest in church. It’s about living like Jesus—laying down your rights, your pride, your control. It’s serving when you’d rather be served. It’s forgiving when they don’t deserve it. It’s loving the unlovable.

You don’t need a mic or a stage to worship. You can worship Jesus by how you treat your family, by how you hustle with honesty, by how you say no to sin when no one’s watching.

Worship is costly. But if Jesus laid down His life for you, isn’t He worth you laying yours down for Him?
