You call yourself a Christian, but your brain? Half of it is still running on the world’s fuel. The jokes you laugh at. The shows you binge. The memes you scroll. The thoughts you hide in the dark. God sees it all. And He’s not impressed by Sunday smiles or the labels you wear. Titles don’t matter if you don’t live them out.

You say you love Jesus, but do you feed your mind on Him, or numb it to escape? Porn. Gossip. Anger. The endless scroll. That’s the world, taking your thoughts hostage. And if your mind isn’t fully His, your heart won’t be either. God wants all of you—your thoughts, your decisions, your habits—not just the image you present.

Romans 12:2 isn’t a suggestion: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Transformation starts in your head. Stop letting the world run your brain while you pray with your lips.

What to do:

Check your feed. Cut the content that drags you back into sin. Delete it, mute it, block it—whatever it takes.

Replace it with God’s Word. Even five minutes a day of reading, memorizing, or meditating on Scripture rewires your thoughts.

Worship outside of church. Play music, sing, journal, or pray. Let your mind dwell on Him, not the world.

Guard your private time. When you’re alone, your thoughts are free to go wild—choose intentional reflection and prayer.

Surround yourself with accountability. Have someone you trust check in on your thoughts and actions. Don’t let pride isolate you.

Pray for your mind. Ask God to expose lies, cleanse thoughts, and give you discernment in daily choices.

You can’t half-follow God. You can’t follow Jesus with half your brain. Fight for your mind. Feed it, guard it, give it fully to Him. Or quit calling yourself a follower.
