The ULTIMATE winter skincare routine

Cold weather + indoor heat = dry, grumpy skin 😭

So this is my ultimate winter skincare routine to keep things hydrated, smooth, and glowing.

I always start with a gentle cleanse (no stripping allowed), go in with a nourishing balm, lightly exfoliate to keep pores clear, and then drench my skin in hydration 💧

The key to winter skin? Layering + sealing it all in with a good moisturizer. Consistency over everything ✨

If your skin feels tight, dull, or flaky in winter, this routine might be your new best friend 🫶❄️

... Read moreWinter can be really harsh on the skin, especially when the cold outdoor air combines with indoor heating. I've definitely experienced that tight, dull feeling that comes with dry winter skin. What really helped me was focusing on a skincare routine that included layering hydrating products and locking them in with a rich moisturizer. Starting my routine with a gentle cleanser like La Roche-Posay’s hydrating cleansing oil ensures that my skin is clean without feeling stripped. Then, I use a nourishing balm such as ELEMIS Green Fig Cleansing Balm which melts away makeup and adds an extra moisture boost. This double-cleanse step has been a game changer for maintaining hydration. Exfoliation is also key; I use medicubet ZERO PORE PAD which contains AHA and BHA acids to gently clear out pores and prevent congestion without irritating my dry winter skin. This keeps my complexion smooth and prevents the buildup that can make dry skin look dull. Hydration products like The Ordinary's hydrating serums help lock in moisture, and finishing with a moisturizer such as CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion or a dry skin formula provides a protective barrier to keep moisture from escaping in harsh weather. Consistency is crucial! Following this routine daily, especially layering and sealing hydration, has kept my skin soft, protected, and glowing through the cold months. If you struggle with flaky or tight feeling skin in winter, try incorporating these gentle yet effective steps into your routine—it might just become your new skincare best friend.
