I have really bad acne and it won’t go away I grad

... Read moreDealing with severe acne can be incredibly stressful, especially with a significant event like graduation approaching. To address your concerns, it's crucial to establish a consistent skincare routine. Start by cleansing your face twice daily with a gentle cleanser to remove dirt and excess oil, which are common contributors to acne. Incorporate products containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, known for their acne-fighting properties, into your routine. These ingredients help unclog pores and reduce inflammation. Additionally, consider using a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated without exacerbating breakouts. Sunscreen is a must; opt for a non-comedogenic formula to protect your skin without clogging pores. Eating a balanced diet rich in whole foods, such as fruits and vegetables, can also support skin health—avoiding processed foods and dairy may further benefit some individuals, although reactions can vary. Remember, patience is key. While you may want results quickly, significant changes can take time to manifest. If over-the-counter solutions seem ineffective, consult a dermatologist for tailored advice, which may include prescription treatments. Don't forget about relaxation techniques, such as mindfulness or meditation, to manage stress levels, as stress can trigger acne flare-ups. With commitment and the right approach, you can improve your skin’s appearance significantly before graduation.

I’ve struggled with acne my whole life! It’s so terrible 😭 but I have two recommendations! If you have the funds go to lush and get the charcoal facial soap, it comes in a bar! If you’re on a budget, Neutrogena the transparent facial bar! The lush one would clear up all of my acne, the neutrogena would pretty much clear up all of the acne. And I’ve found the least amount of products help the most! A really good face wash n a really good moisturizer. I think acne skin really like SPF moisturizers, I really like the Aveeno positively radiant daily moisturizer with 30 spf. I’ve heard really good things about oil of olay moisturizer!! I hope this helps in any way 🥰
