A nameless yellow mini rose🌼
I bought this mini rose February 2025 from a small flower rack at Whole Foods.
There were purple, pink, red… and yellow.
I almost chose purple — but in our little rose-growing superstition, nameless yellow roses are often the strongest ones. 🌞
She spent three long months on a windowsill,
waiting for a Toronto spring that never really comes on time.
Too much indoor time brought spider mites,
too much spray took all her leaves away. 🍃
Still, she started again.
By mid-summer, I finally planted her in the ground.
