Struggling with milk supply?

Struggling with milk supply? Here's what worked for me: as a first time mom. P.s I also do give formula to my baby . I breast feed/pump through out the day and give him formula at night . To each its own though.

-Lactation cookies! I love love LOVE the munchkin brand lactation cookies. My favorite is the chocolate salted caramel. They do also have crackers and other flavors but any brand of your choice will do.

-Oat Milk and Mother’s milk tea! I personally don’t really like eating oatmeal but i do love drinking it. There’s a lot of mixed reviews with mothers milk tea some people say due to it containing fenugreek it lowers there supply while others says it actually helped boost it. I drink about 2 cups a day and I can personally say this has really helped boost my milk supply.

-Oreos , believe it not but Oreos actually works because it contains soy lecithin which helps prevent blocked ducts and help with milk flow.

-Body Armor: Sometimes water may not be enough for everyone to keep hydrated so try drinking atleast one bottle of body armor a day they also have a low calorie version.

Something I also didn’t put in the pictures but also help me are:

- coconut water

- foods with high protein

- fruits

- LOTS AND LOTS OF REST !!!!!! Getting rest is key mama’s

- try to stay stress free. I know it can be a little difficult but try not stress to much. Stress can lower your milk supply.

-Snuggles with your little munchkin. snuggling with your baby and doing skin to while breast feeding or pumping can increase oxytocin hormone .

All in all Hang in there, mama! If some of these don’t work for you it’s ok to give formula. Better fed than un-fed!!
