My 2025 Recap 🥰

What a year it’s been! I’ve faced many challenges and quite a bit of heartbreak in 2025, but it’s also been the year I finally became a published author. A dream I’ve been reaching for since I was just a pimply teen 😅 I’ve waited sooooooo long to finally pull the trigger because I simply didn’t think my writing was good enough. It took a lot of encouragement from friends, family, and my fellow authors to finally hit that publish button, and I’m so incredibly glad I did. I never could’ve imagined the community I’d come to find here. The love and support I’ve been given since releasing my Despite It All duet has been overwhelming in the best way. 2025 was the year I became a published author. 2026 will be the year we’ll take this dream to the next level! I can’t wait to share more amazing stories with you all. Thank you to everyone who’s been a part of my journey in any capacity. You’ve made this experience so much more enjoyable 🫶 I’m wishing everyone a peaceful and pleasant end to 2025 and all the best for the new year to come. May all your hopes and dreams come true! Cheers 🥂 Nomi #2025recap #authorrecap #yearinreview #2025wrapped #readersoflemon8

... Read moreReflecting on 2025 as a published author, I found that breaking through self-doubt was the most significant hurdle. Like many aspiring writers, I hesitated to share my stories because of fears about not being good enough. What truly helped was the encouragement and honest feedback from a supportive community, including friends, family, and fellow authors. This collective encouragement gave me the confidence to publish my first books in the 'Despite It All' duet, which deeply connected with readers and received an average rating of around 4.5 stars—something I hadn't dared to hope for. The process of writing and publishing over 154,000 words and releasing multiple books taught me the importance of resilience. Alongside personal challenges and heartbreak, channeling my experiences into storytelling allowed me to grow both as a writer and as an individual. Another key takeaway is the value of community in an author's journey. Platforms where readers and writers interact not only offer support but also provide motivation to keep improving and sharing new work. Knowing that my stories inspired and comforted others has been profoundly rewarding. Looking forward to 2026, I’m excited to continue expanding my writing, including upcoming releases in the 'Resilience' series. For those still dreaming of publishing their own work, my advice is to stay patient, seek feedback, and embrace every step of the journey—even the tough ones. Your story deserves to be told, and the right moment to publish might be closer than you think.
