Today I took a look at the VS Code screen (a common program that Windows residents need) while doing the Proppsy system. Let's see what each color seen in this PHP file tells us?
• Keywords: is the heart of a structure such as class, function, if you know what you are going to do.
• Methods / Functions: is an "action" or a command name that we run, such as connect (), query ()
• Yellow / Orange (Classes & Types): is a "data type" or a group name, such as DB, PDO, string.
• Strings: is a common "text" that we want to display or constants in quotation marks.
• White: is a "variable" that we named ourselves to store data.
Why is this color separated?
Easy to distinguish: At once, know where is the condition, where is the message.
Easy to find a bug: If typing is wrong, the color will change immediately! Reduce mistakes before running the program.
Comfort Eyes: Customize Theme as you like. Fits Introverts who like to stare at the screen quietly for a long time.

ประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวตอนเริ่มใช้ VS Code ผมก็เหมือนกับหลายๆ คนที่ไม่เข้าใจว่าทำไมหน้าจอถึงมีสีหลากหลายขนาดนี้ จนได้ลองศึกษาจริงจังถึงการใช้ Syntax Highlighting ที่แบ่งสีของโค้ดอย่างชัดเจน ทำให้ผมสามารถอ่านโค้ดได้เร็วขึ้นและจัดการบัคได้ง่ายกว่าที่เคย โดยเฉพาะเวลาทำงานกับไฟล์ PHP ขนาดใหญ่ การแยกสีโดยใช้สีชมพูเข้มสำหรับ Keywords อย่าง class หรือ function ช่วยให้เรารู้ตำแหน่งโครงสร้างโค้ดได้ทันที ส่วนสีฟ้าของ Methods/Functions ทำให้ผมแยกแยะว่าคำสั่งไหนคือการเรียกใช้งานจริงๆ และสีเขียวของ Strings ช่วยให้สังเกตเห็นข้อความที่แสดงผลหรือค่าคงที่ได้อย่างรวดเร็ว นอกจากนี้ สีขาวที่ใช้กับตัวแปรที่ผมตั้งเองยังช่วยให้ติดตามข้อมูลในโค้ดได้ง่ายมากขึ้น นอกจากการแยกสีเพื่อความเข้าใจโค้ดที่ง่ายแล้ว VS Code ยังมีความสามารถให้ปรับแต่งธีมสีได้ตามใจชอบ ทำให้ผมสามารถเลือกธีมสีที่สบายตาและเหมาะกับการนั่งจ้องหน้าจอเป็นเวลานานๆ โดยเฉพาะคนที่เป็นอินโทรเวิร์ทอย่างผม นี่คืออีกหนึ่งเหตุผลที่ทำให้ผมกับหลายๆ คนหลงรัก VS Code เพราะมันไม่เพียงแค่เป็นเครื่องมือพิมพ์โค้ด แต่เป็นตัวช่วยจัดระเบียบสมองผู้เขียนโปรแกรมไปด้วยในตัว สำหรับใครที่ยังลังเล ผมแนะนำให้ลองดาวน์โหลดไปใช้ดู เพราะนอกจากจะฟรีแล้ว มันยังทำงานได้ดีมากในระบบปฏิบัติการ Windows โดยเฉพาะสำหรับนักพัฒนาที่ต้องการเครื่องมือเขียนโค้ดที่จัดระบบได้ดีและช่วยลดความผิดพลาดก่อนส่งงานจริง
