Taking Revision Notes with Notes+

Here are some of my favourite functions to use when taking down revision notes!

1: Linked Documents

Import documents onto the note for easy reference! I also like to switch the layout where my document is positioned on top so I can write at the bottom while referring.

2: Screenshot Tool

Easily screenshot your reference or note and instantly add it into the note! I mainly screenshot definitions, graphs, and images when it comes to Psychology notes.

3: Timer

The built-in timer allows for users to conveniently keep track of their study session. I usually set for an hour per chapter of notes and I like that I can see the timer in the app 😆

4: ChatGPT

The in-app ChatGPT function means users can use it without switching out apps! Download Notes+ for free! 💯💯💯

This means I could have my textbook or reference material open right above my notes pane, allowing me to jot down insights without constantly switching screens. It made revising complex subjects like Psychology so much more fluid and less distracting. I also found the screenshot tool incredibly helpful for capturing key diagrams, graphs, and definitions. Instead of manually copying content or hunting down images later, a quick screenshot snapped into my note saved time and helped create visually rich revision materials. This visual aid was especially useful when dealing with dense scientific topics or memorizing complex concepts. Tracking study times can be challenging, but the built-in timer in Notes+ was a game changer. I usually set it to an hour per chapter, and having a visible countdown kept me on track without feeling overwhelmed. It subtly pushed me to stay focused and manage breaks more effectively, which greatly improved my concentration over long study periods. The integration of ChatGPT is a unique addition that helped me clarify doubts and generate explanations without leaving the app. Whether I needed simplified summaries or exam-ready responses, this feature acted as a handy tutor on demand. It saved me from toggling between apps and maintained study flow. For users interested in enhancing their note layout, exploring the table feature within Notes+ can help organize information systematically. Using tables to capture active recall cues or chemical formulas (similar to templates available in apps like GoodNotes) can add structure and clarity to your revision notes. Overall, Notes+ provides a dynamic study environment that caters to varied learning styles, combining document linkage, multimedia input, time management, and AI assistance all in one. If you’re looking for a comprehensive revision app, Notes+ is definitely worth trying out and customizing to fit your personal study routine.
