Notes+ Thumbnail Tab (psa: you’re probably not using this tab enough 👀)

In my experience using Notes+, the Thumbnail Tab has truly transformed the way I manage my digital notebooks. Initially, I underestimated its potential, but once I began adding bookmarks and headings through the thumbnail menu, navigating through lengthy documents became much faster. The ability to insert pages directly from the tab saved me time, especially when I needed to add supplementary material on the fly. One feature I particularly enjoy is editing page colors and templates within the Thumbnail Tab. This visual customization helps me categorize and prioritize notes by color-coding subjects or topics, which makes reviewing study materials less overwhelming. For example, grouping all biology notes on a green-tinted template helps me quickly locate those pages during exam preparation. Another helpful tip is using bookmarks to mark important sections. After adding bookmarks via the bookmark icon or expanded menu, I can filter and jump straight to key points without endless scrolling. The Thumbnail Tab also allows for quick duplication of pages, which is perfect for making repeated study sheets without recreating them from scratch. Though PDF pages imported into Notes+ can't be edited via the Thumbnail Tab, it's still possible to insert images or documents as new pages, adding flexibility to how you compile your notes. Overall, embracing the Thumbnail Tab functionality has made my digital note-taking on iPad more organized and efficient.
