bro is built different 😭💀
I've often felt like I was 'built different,' especially when considering those rare survival stories that seem almost miraculous. It's not just a matter of statistics; it's a personal sense that somehow, in life-threatening situations, your odds might be just a bit better. For example, many people share tales about surviving car accidents with nearly nonexistent chances of survival—like driving off a cliff and walking away unscathed. While the odds are often cited as unimaginably small, some survivors believe there are factors beyond chance, such as how their body positioned itself or how they reacted in moments of escape. I imagine that if I were in such a scenario, my experience might mirror these 'one-in-a-million' odds. Maybe the implosion of a car underwater would create an air pocket that would allow me to breathe, or I could find a narrow escape route to the surface. Such thoughts give me a unique confidence that’s part gut feeling and part mindset. In everyday life, feeling 'built different' can translate to resilience—facing challenges that others find daunting and overcoming them with perseverance. It’s a reminder that sometimes, survival and success come from an unyielding spirit combined with quick thinking and a bit of luck. While there’s no guarantee anyone will survive unimaginable odds, believing in this inner strength can be empowering. It’s a mindset shared by many who have faced adversity and come through stronger, and it encourages us all to keep pushing forward even when the situation seems impossible.
