I need tips for my anatomy practice

Like many of you, I've found that drawing the human form, especially muscular figures, can be really challenging but incredibly rewarding. I've been spending a lot of time with my pencil and spiral-bound notebook, trying to get those muscles just right. For anyone just starting or looking to improve their anatomy sketches, here are some tips that have been helping me: 1. Start with the Skeleton: Before you even think about muscles, understanding the basic skeletal structure is crucial. Think of it as the foundation. Knowing where bones connect and how they articulate helps immensely with posing and proportion. I often do quick, simple bone sketches before adding anything else. 2. Focus on Major Muscle Groups First: When I started trying to draw muscular male figures, I felt overwhelmed. There are so many muscles! My approach now is to focus on the large, defining muscle groups – like the pectorals, deltoids, biceps, triceps, and the major back muscles.
