Fluffy Pancakes with Nutella

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

3 ½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 tbsp sugar

1 ¼ cups milk

1 egg

3 tbsp melted butter (plus more for greasing)

½ cup Nutella (refrigerated for firmness)

Directions:

Prepare Nutella discs: Scoop 1 tbsp of Nutella onto parchment paper, spreading it into a small disc. Repeat to make 6-8 discs. Freeze for at least 30 minutes until firm.

Mix the batter: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. In another bowl, combine milk, egg, and melted butter. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry, stirring until smooth.

Cook the pancakes: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter. Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto the skillet. Place a frozen Nutella disc in the center, then top with another 2 tbsp of batter to cover.

Flip and cook: Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface and the edges are set. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes until golden brown.

Serve: Repeat with remaining batter and Nutella discs. Serve warm with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, or extra Nutella drizzle on top.
