Rubber base builder gel! 💗💅🏼

What is rubber base builder gel?

It’s a semi-hard gel that can be soaked off or drilled off with an e-file!!

It’s great to strengthen the natural nails by creating a strong foundation and give your nails that extra protection!

• I prefer to use it under my gel polishes as a base that way my nails have a thicker layer over them + helps my nails look like I got them done at a salon!✨✨

It must be cured with a UV/LED Lamp

Also, stay tuned to pre-order this rubber base builder gel coming out soon!💗🤭💅🏼 #lemon8partner #nails #rubberbasecoat #buildergelnails #biab

... Read moreHey nail lovers! So, you're curious about rubber base builder gel, just like I was! My nails used to be so brittle and prone to breaking, but ever since I started using rubber base, it's been a total game-changer. I wanted to share a more in-depth look at how I apply it, especially since so many of you are asking about the application process and what kind of 'before & after' results you can expect. First things first, proper nail prep is absolutely crucial for a lasting manicure. I always start by gently pushing back my cuticles and buffing the nail plate lightly to remove any shine. Then, a good dehydrator and primer are my best friends. This creates the perfect canvas for your rubber base. Now, for the application itself! While some rubber bases say you don't need a separate base coat, I personally find that using a thin layer of a regular gel base coat beforehand really helps with retention. I cure that for 60 seconds under my UV/LED lamp. This extra step helps my manicures last even longer, which is always a win! Next, it's time for the star of the show: the rubber base builder gel. I like to apply a decent bead of product to the center of my nail. Don't go too thin here, as the goal is to build some strength and structure. Then, using a fine nail art liner brush, I carefully guide the gel towards the sidewalls and around the cuticle area, making sure not to flood them. This brush is a lifesaver for getting a clean, salon-like finish. The key is to create a slight apex in the center of the nail – this adds incredible strength and helps prevent breaks. Once I'm happy with the shape and coverage, I pop my hand back into the lamp for a full 60-second cure. After curing, you'll notice a sticky, 'tacky' layer. This is totally normal! I gently wipe it off with some rubbing alcohol to reveal a smooth, strong surface. At this point, you can leave it as is for a natural, clear look, or go straight into applying your favorite gel polish colors. I love how the rubber base creates such a smooth, even surface for my gel polish, making the colors look so vibrant and professional. One of the biggest 'before & after' differences I’ve noticed is how much my natural nails have grown and strengthened. Before, they'd peel and chip constantly. Now, they feel so much more resilient and I can actually grow them out without constant fear of breakage. It really acts like a protective shield, allowing my natural nails to thrive underneath. It's truly amazing to see the transformation – from weak, brittle nails to strong, beautiful ones that look like I just stepped out of a high-end salon, but I did them myself! Don't forget, practice makes perfect. The first few times might feel a bit tricky, especially getting that perfect apex, but you'll get the hang of it quickly. Investing in a good quality rubber base and a reliable UV/LED lamp is definitely worth it for these long-lasting, gorgeous results. Give it a try, and prepare to fall in love with your stronger, healthier nails!
