Managing multiple roles like photographer, video editor, content creator, seller, and accountant while being a mother of three and working a full-time 8-4 job is truly a challenge that many creatives can relate to. From my experience, the key to surviving and thriving in such a busy life is prioritizing tasks and embracing flexibility. I often find that organizing my day into blocks dedicated to specific roles helps prevent burnout. For example, mornings might be ideal for creative tasks like photography and editing, while administrative duties like bookkeeping or content planning suit quieter afternoon hours. Using tools like CapCut for video editing or scheduling apps to coordinate shoots has been a game changer for efficiency. Another important aspect is setting realistic expectations—not everything can be perfect, but consistency leads to progress over time. Also, sharing your multifaceted identity openly with clients and followers builds genuine connections and often helps break down misconceptions about the ‘single role’ many assume. It’s empowering to embrace being a creative entrepreneur, mother, and employee all at once. While it sometimes feels like juggling seven birds at once, celebrating small wins daily brings motivation to continue growing your brand and balancing life’s demands.
