Cozy Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal 🤌🏻🥧

Probably should’ve let it cool down before adding the whipped cream but 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is so easy!

1/2 cup rolled oats (organic)

1 cup of milk of your choosing

1/2 cup pumpkin puree

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

As much cinnamon as your little heart desires

Heavy whipping cream

Crushed nuts for crunchy topping 😛

🤎Take a cup of milk of your choosing (I used oatmilk) and bring to a boil.

🤎Once boiling, add in 1/2 cup of oats (try to use organic if you can), 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice, and a pinch of salt.

🤎 Keep an eye on it, but reduce to a low temp and simmer for 5-10 minutes until the liquid has reduced. Stir often!

🤎Once it looks like 3/4 of the liquid has been boiled off or absorbed, let rest for 1-2 mins.

🤎 Mix in 1/2 tsp of vanilla extra and a dash of cinnamon.

I topped with home made whipped cream, crushed walnuts, and more cinnamon! Then I decided to mix in the whipped cream, add more cinnamon, and sea salt. I like flavor, what can I say 🤌🏻
