I miss you
This October marked one year that I lost my 104 year old grandmother their isn’t a day that goes by that she is on my mind she would of love to have met her newest great grandson that was born back In may of this year
Losing a loved one is a profound experience that shapes our understanding of family and love. On the first anniversary of my grandmother's passing, I find comfort in reminiscing about her incredible life and the lessons she imparted. At 104 years old, she was a source of wisdom and warmth, and I often think about how she would have adored meeting her great grandson. As we welcome this new life into our family, I cherish the stories and memories that my grandmother left behind. It's important to keep their spirit alive, sharing tales of their love and support with new generations. Grief does not diminish with time; instead, it morphs into a bittersweet remembrance that can bring us closer to those we have lost. Engaging in activities that honor their memory, such as creating a scrapbook or simply sharing stories with family, can be therapeutic. Embrace the memories, hold on to the lessons, and continue to celebrate those who have shaped our lives. This October marks a significant reflection point for me, and I encourage others to take the time to remember and honor their loved ones. Whether through a small gesture, like lighting a candle or telling a favorite story, it serves as a reminder that they are never truly gone as long as we keep their memories alive. Let’s cherish the time we have with our family and embrace every moment, for life is fleeting. Losing someone is hard; however, our loved ones often live in our hearts, inspiring us to create new memories with those who are still with us.
