Weekly Discovery Column (Restaurant I want to revive (Italian restaurant Fagotto))
This time, as the first of the new series "Restaurants I want to revive," the Italian restaurant "Italian Shokudo" in Ono Ginza Shopping Street# FagottoIntroduction and memories 😺
This shop was open for about 17 years from July 2006 to December 2023 ✨
As the name suggests, the restaurant has a structure like a rural Italian restaurant, and we enjoyed authentic Italian cuisine 🇮🇹
The Spaghetti Pomodoro that I received when I first visited (July 2023) was impressed because I could see that the tomatoes were very fresh and the tomato sauce tasted like it conveyed kindness well 🥹
Therefore, I was planning to go to eat three or four times a year, but I knew that it would close in November 2023, so I could only go twice 😿
I was able to enjoy "Spicy Tomato Sauce Spaghetti Arrabiata" which I received for the second time (October 2023) until the end 😋
Also, I tried to go to eat again before closing, but I gave up because it was full of reserved seats 😿
It closed on New Year's Eve in 2023, but in April 2024, the izakaya "Hidemaru Shoten" opened in the same place and has continued to this day 🏮
Finally, we will announce the correct answer of the anagram quiz that was asked in last week's column 💡
Two artists who have decided to appear at this year's Monje Festival are...

イタリア食堂Fagottoは、地域に根ざした温かい雰囲気が特徴的でした。私も訪れた際、新鮮なトマトを使ったスパゲティポモドーロのトマトソースの優しい味に感銘を受けました。トマトの甘みと酸味が絶妙で、まさに田舎の食堂でいただくような素朴ながらも深い味わいです。 また、ピリ辛トマトソースのスパゲティ・アラビアータも人気で、辛さが強すぎず食べやすいので幅広い層に支持されていました。私自身、何度か通いたかったのですが、閉店の知らせを受けて寂しい思いをしました。予約の取れなさに閉店直前は訪問を断念したこともあり、地域の方々にとっても思い出深い名店だったのだと実感しました。 さらに、閉店後の2024年4月には、同じ場所に居酒屋「秀○商店」がオープンしており、新たな出会いや地域活性化が期待されています。イタリアンの味わいと温かい空間を提供してくれたFagottoの復活を願いつつ、新しいお店も訪れてみたいと思っています。地元相模大野の食文化の多様性と歴史を感じられる貴重な体験でした。
