The lazy girl’s body care hack ✨ because I simply don’t have the patience to layer multiple products all over my body after every shower 😂

Here’s how I make my quick body-care spray:

1. Grab a small clean spray bottle.

2. Fill about 1/3 of the bottle with body oil.

3. Add about 1/3 hydrating toner to make the mixture lighter and easier to spread.

4. For the remaining 1/3, I use a mix of:

*Glycolic acid product for rough/bumpy texture

*Vitamin C serum for uneven-looking skin tone

5. Close the bottle and shake really well before every use since the oil and water-based products will naturally separate.

6. Spray onto the body after showering and quickly massage it in.

✨ I recommend making a small batch, patch testing first, and avoiding freshly shaved, irritated, or broken skin. Since different products can have different formulas and pH levels, I also wouldn’t store a DIY mixture like this for a long time.

... Read moreIf you're like me and find the traditional multi-step body care routine to be time-consuming, this quick spray hack is a real game changer. I love how you can customize the formulation depending on your skin's needs. For example, if your skin is super dry, you might increase the ratio of body oil a bit, as this will provide deeper hydration and prevent flaky skin. On the other hand, if you're dealing with uneven skin tone or pigmentation, boosting the amount of vitamin C serum in your spray can help brighten your skin naturally over time. One important tip is to always shake the bottle well right before each use because oil and water-based ingredients tend to separate. Also, patch testing the mixture on a small area first can save you from any potential irritation, especially if you have sensitive or freshly shaved skin. Since the mixture contains active ingredients like glycolic acid and vitamin C, they can be photosensitive, so I like to apply this body spray in the evening or always follow with sunscreen if going out during the day. Another benefit is how quickly this spray absorbs compared to heavier lotions—it’s perfect for busy mornings or when you want to refresh your skin mid-day. Plus, the spray format allows for an even and light application that feels refreshing without any greasy residue. From personal experience, adjusting the ratio based on seasonality works wonders—more toner and less oil in summer for a lighter feel, and more oil during winter months for extra nourishment. This simple DIY body care spray is definitely my go-to hack when I need effective skincare without sacrificing time or effort.
