Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut 🤫 - proverbs 10:19
The reason why I was feeling so drained is because I kept complaining and feeding into the negative instead of the positive. Once I shifted that mindset everything changed for the better 🥹💞

Throughout my experience as a labor and delivery nurse, I realized that the way we talk greatly affects our energy and mindset. It's easy to fall into the habit of complaining about workload or sharing negative stories, which only drains us further. I took a six-month leave of absence when I noticed this cycle was impacting me deeply. Returning to work, I made a conscious decision to limit unnecessary talking and complaints. Instead, I focused on positive affirmations and prayer. This practice aligned with the wisdom from Proverbs that says, "Too much talk leads to sin; be sensible and keep your mouth shut." These words really resonated with me because excessive talking often led me into gossip or negativity. I also saw how speaking positively influenced those around me. People began to avoid complaining when I was nearby because the energy felt different—more uplifting and hopeful. Speaking life instead of negativity helped me feel less drained and more fulfilled. Another important lesson was the power of the tongue—our words can either bring life or death. Choosing to pray before speaking gave me clarity and helped me share uplifting thoughts. If I felt the urge to complain or gossip, I paused and redirected my mind to gratitude or solutions. For anyone feeling overwhelmed or drained, I encourage trying a similar approach: be mindful of how much and what you speak, embrace silence when negative feelings arise, and fill your conversations with positivity and encouragement. Over time, it truly changed my perspective and well-being, showing me that sometimes, the mouth really is the problem, but with control comes freedom and peace.
