To think I’m at the point of my career where I’d be speaking as a panelist at a university, I would not have imagined this and that’s why I know it’s all God💞
Thank you @keoshaloveee and @torontomet for having me and for the students for listening to what I had to say🥹💞
If you’re uncertain about your future, you’re not alone, just know God’s got you✨
Speaking at the Toronto Metropolitan University's annual Black Flourishing Conference truly felt like a milestone in my career and personal journey. When I first started out, I never imagined I’d be standing on a panel, sharing my experiences with students who aspire to be content creators like myself. It was a full circle moment that reminded me how uncertain the future can be, especially when you’re still finding your path. Balancing a career in nursing while pursuing my passion for content creation wasn’t easy. There were moments I doubted if I could make it work, but holding on to faith and the message of Philippians 4:13 — 'I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength' — kept me grounded and motivated. I want students and anyone feeling uncertain to know that it’s okay not to have all the answers right now. God’s strength and favor can carry you through the unknown. If you’re struggling to figure out your next steps, remember you’re not alone. Many of us have been there, unsure of what lies ahead but hopeful nonetheless. The key is to keep pushing forward with faith and perseverance. Opportunities often come when you least expect them, and sometimes, stepping out in faith leads to incredible growth and fulfillment. I encourage anyone who feels stuck or uncertain to embrace the journey, trust in God’s timing, and hold onto your dreams. Your path might look different from what you imagined, but it’s uniquely yours and can lead to beautiful, unexpected places. Never underestimate the power of resilience and faith in shaping a future you can be proud of.
