🛑 5 Tea Habits to STOP Now
Tea is medicine, but misuse makes it poison. ⚠️
Respect the leaf and respect your body. Which rule do you break the most? 👇#orientalspirit
As someone who enjoys a daily cup of tea, I used to overlook some common mistakes that can turn this healthful drink into a problematic one. For example, drinking tea on an empty stomach can irritate your gut lining and cause discomfort or nausea. I learned this the hard way and now always eat a light snack before tea time. Also, I was guilty of brewing very strong tea to get that intense flavor, but it often left me feeling jittery and anxious. Scaling back the tea strength helped me enjoy a calming effect instead. Another crucial habit I changed was avoiding tea right before bedtime. The caffeine and certain compounds in tea can disrupt sleep quality. I now make my last cup at least a few hours before going to bed, which helps me fall asleep faster. I also found out that drinking overnight brewed tea is risky due to bacterial growth. Keeping leftover tea at room temperature can cause unpleasant and unsafe bacterial parties inside your cup! Lastly, I used to drink very hot tea immediately after brewing, which sometimes burned my throat. Waiting for the tea to cool to a comfortable temperature preserves the delicate flavors and protects your throat. Respecting these rules not only makes tea more enjoyable but also ensures it acts as a natural medicine rather than harming your body. Sharing these tips with friends has helped others appreciate tea safely too!
