LIT LIVING INTENTIONALLY TRANSFORMED
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. —Ephesians 6:10–13
Living intentionally requires a deep understanding of one's purpose and the tools to navigate life's spiritual challenges. The concept of putting on the whole armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-13, serves as a vital element in this journey. Each piece of armor symbolizes a different aspect of our spiritual strength: the belt of truth secures our identity in Christ, while the breastplate of righteousness protects our hearts against negativity and deceit. The shield of faith defends us against doubt, and the helmet of salvation guards our minds, empowering us to think positively and hopefully. To truly live transformed, one must not only wear this armor but also incorporate practices that foster spiritual growth such as prayer, meditation, and community support. Engaging in these practices can enhance clarity and reinforce the importance of faith in daily life. Building relationships with others who share similar faith values can create a network of support, encouraging one another to stay grounded in powerful intentions. Ultimately, living intentionally and spiritually transformed is about recognizing the ongoing battle we face daily against various life challenges. By embracing our faith and reinforcing our spiritual armor, we can stand firm against adversity and live a life that reflects our purpose.
