Entering my 0zempic Era
I’m trying a gIp-1 for my PCOS/PMOS, but this journey is about so much more than weight loss.
For me, this is about insulin resistance, inflammation, brain fog, energy, cravings, cycle health, pain, mobility, and preparing my body for the future.
After struggling with infertility, pregnancy loss, a high-risk pregnancy, an HG pregnancy, and birth complications, I want to feel as strong, supported, and healthy as possible before I get pregnant again one day.
This is my motherhood fitness journey.
My fertility health journey.
My PCOS/PMOS health journey.
My preconception era, even though I’m not TTC yet.
I’m not sharing this because I think every body has to change before pregnancy.
I’m sharing because I know what MY body has been through, what my symptoms feel like, and what kind of support I need to feel better moving forward.
If you’re a mom, a PCOS girlie, on a metabolic med, healing your relationship with food & fitness, rebuilding your strength, navigating insulin resistance, or trying to feel like yourself again, you’re so welcome here.
Comment if you’re on this journey too 🥹 I want to hear what changed for you first.

Starting my journey with GLP-1 medications has been a truly eye-opening experience that goes far beyond the common focus on weight loss. For those of us living with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) or PMOS (Premenstrual Ovary Syndrome), the challenges are multifaceted—from hormonal imbalances to insulin resistance, fatigue, and brain fog. When I began the treatment, I hoped it might help with my energy and cravings, but the benefits have extended well into cycle regulation, inflammation reduction, and overall improved mobility. One of the most impactful changes I've noticed is the clearer mental focus. The brain fog that often accompanies PCOS can make daily tasks feel overwhelming, and GLP-1 seems to be helping stabilize my blood sugar levels, which in turn supports better cognitive function. This clarity has helped me regain confidence and presence in my everyday life. Inflammation used to leave me feeling sore and physically weighed down, making movement and exercise daunting. Since starting my GLP-1 regimen, I've experienced reduced pain and stiffness, which encourages me to engage in gentle workouts that build my strength without overwhelming my body. This progress is vital as I prepare for pregnancy again—after experiencing high-risk pregnancies and complications, I want to offer my future child the healthiest start possible. GLP-1 therapies also seem promising in supporting steadier energy levels and better sleep patterns. Restful nights were elusive before, as hormonal swings and insulin sensitivity issues would disrupt my cycle, leaving me exhausted during the day. Now, with improved blood sugar regulation, I find myself with fewer days where I feel completely drained. If you have PCOS or PMOS, struggle with metabolic concerns, or are navigating the complexities of fertility and motherhood, know that this journey is unique but shared. Healing is not linear, and medications like GLP-1 can be a powerful tool alongside holistic care strategies including nutrition, exercise, and mental wellness practices. Sharing experiences with others fosters community and hope. For anyone curious about starting GLP-1 or managing PCOS/PMOS holistically, my advice is to listen deeply to your body, stay informed on current research, and seek support tailored to your symptoms and health goals. This is more than a medication; it’s a step toward reclaiming vitality and strength for the challenges of today and the hopes of tomorrow.
