USJ has only one JR train to reach, the JR Yumesaki Line, Universal City Station, which is not on the main line, so everyone has to change trains at Nishikujo Station, which is a connecting station for both the JR Osaka Loop Line and Hanshin Railway.

🔸 from Umeda & Osaka Station

You can use JR Osaka Loop Line (O) at Osaka Station for 4 minutes from platform 1. Get off to Nishikujo Station and change platforms. Get on the Yumesaki Line (P) for 5 minutes. Get off to Universal City Station.

🔸 from Namba & Shinsaibashi

Use Hanshin on the Namba Line at Osaka-Namba Station. All trains from platform 3 bound for Amagasaki, Kobe-Sannomiya are only 8 minutes. Get off at Nishikujo Station and exit. Switch to JR. Get on the Yumesaki Line (P). 5 minutes to Universal City Station.

🔸 from the Tennoji neighborhood.

Take the JR Osaka Loop Line (O) at Tennoji Station. From platform 17, travel 11 minutes. Get off Nishikujo Station and change platforms. Get on the Yumesaki Line (P). 5 minutes to Universal City Station.
