Although we have heard of Mr. Ladid's reputation for a long time and have never had the opportunity to read his writing, we chose the first book "The Last Reader" because the cover is as emotional as the mother fiction book that existed in the old salon, which waits for the mother to read it every time, and the bookmark is a ten-out theme.

The last reader tells of Jing's relationship with Pui, a close childhood friend, who was close at a time when the change of time led to momentary forgetfulness and always reuniting through writing and reading.

It is a very nostalgia book for us. Whether the narrative, the choice of words, it gives us a clear sense of the mood. The atmosphere at that moment is so obvious that we are shocked. Whether the chicken coop scene, the house, the bookstore, all reminisce about the past. The plot, we like to keep the story gradual, simple, not to focus on emotions and feelings. Besides the story of Jing and Pui, we didn't expect the story between the families to do this much. It seems ordinary, but it's so true that we also snuck in a lot.
