Why My Friend Group Is Choosing Homeschooling Over Traditional School

One thing my friends & I keep talking about is how much the education system impacted us. Some of us worked in schools, some of us were students struggling through it, but almost all of us saw the same thing… exhausted teachers, lack of support, burnout & kids falling through the cracks.

Now so many of us are saying the same thing: when we have kids, we want to homeschool.

The hard part is figuring out how to create a life where that’s actually possible. Flexible income, time freedom & working differently has become a huge focus in our conversations lately. That’s part of why I started exploring online business opportunities.

Results with Enagic vary & success depends on individual effort, consistency, skill & experience. This is not guaranteed income.

... Read moreFrom personal experience and many conversations with friends, I've realized that the traditional education system often struggles to meet the needs of both students and teachers. Burnout is widespread among educators, leading to a lack of individual support for many kids. This is a key reason why my circle is leaning towards homeschooling—offering a more tailored and nurturing learning environment. Transitioning to homeschooling isn’t without its challenges. One major hurdle is establishing a lifestyle that supports such flexibility, especially in terms of income and time management. Many of us, including myself, have been exploring online business opportunities as a way to generate flexible income streams that align with homeschooling schedules. Another critical aspect is the increasing awareness about various student needs that traditional schools sometimes fail to accommodate adequately, such as those related to health issues like epilepsy. This further motivates parents to take control over their children’s education and wellbeing at home. Sharing resources, connecting with other homeschooling families, and building a supportive community are essential. It’s empowering to witness how homeschooling can foster a strong entrepreneurial mindset within families, encouraging both parents and children to be more adaptable and self-motivated. While success depends heavily on individual effort, experience, and consistency, the prospect of escaping an exhausted educational system inspires many to take the leap. Homeschooling, combined with flexible entrepreneurship, seems, for many of us, like the best path forward towards a balanced and effective education for our future children.
