The result is a paradox where physical rest happens but mental fatigue accumulates, especially when the rest period exceeds a quick power nap and shifts into deeper sleep cycles. In moments like these, it helps to set clear boundaries for breaks. Instead of lying down immediately, try a less sleep-inducing pause, such as a hydration break or a brief walk. These actions protect your peace and can prevent the dizziness of waking up disoriented and depleted. Remember, even a soft heart that needs daily care is still progressing one day at a time.
