Cold weather often means limited daylight, so I planned my practice sessions for when the sun was highest to maximize visibility and warmth. I also invested in a few indoor golf training aids and portable nets, which allowed me to work on my swing mechanics at home on days when outdoor practice wasn’t feasible. Another thing that helped was setting small, achievable goals each time I practiced. For example, focusing on improving my swing tempo or working on my grip rather than trying to perfect everything at once kept me motivated and made measurable progress. Remember, winter golf practice is about consistency and refining fundamentals. Even on cold days, short sessions aimed at specific improvements can translate to better performance when the season returns. Don’t be discouraged by struggles on the range; with patience and smart training, the progress you make will be worth it in the long run.
