Additional Tip: You don’t need to pack a million outfits! We definitely overpacked. You mainly need a few casual outfits, bathing suits, and and a few nice outfits for dinners
💵 Price: we paid a little over $5000 for our stay which was 7 nights which is not bad compared to Sandals which was the same price for 5 nights. I thought it was a fair price considering all the different excursions that were included which you might have to pay extra for at other resorts.
✨ Pros: MY BIGGEST PRO WAS FREE SNORKELING 🤿 If you are like me and loveeee to snorkel this is the place for you. We got to see a sea turtle which was such an unforgettable experience!!🐢🩷They did have a night snorkel but that was an extra charge.
Overall I think this a great honeymoon spot and I would definitely go back to this resort!!
If you have been to Jamaica let me know where you have stayed! We want to go back but are afraid to try another resort because we are afraid of the unknown lol 🤍
When we first landed in Jamaica, even the view from the airplane window was breathtaking – the vibrant blue ocean meeting the green coastline. The drive from the airport to Negril, passing by local scenes, built up the anticipation. But nothing quite prepared us for the moment we stepped onto the grounds of Couples Swept Away. The lush, palm-lined paths immediately transported us into a tropical paradise, a stark contrast to our everyday lives. The real magic, though, is the beach. Oh, that beach! Couples Swept Away Negril truly lives up to its name, with a beach scene that felt like it was plucked straight from a postcard. I remember sinking my toes into the soft, white sand for the first time, the warm sun on my skin, and the gentle lapping of the crystal-clear blue water against the shore. It’s not just a beach; it’s an experience. We spent countless hours lounging on the comfortable chairs under the swaying palm trees, sometimes just relaxing with a fresh coconut in hand, feeling utterly "swept away" by the tranquility. Even our room balcony offered a stunning view, making sure the ocean and those iconic palm trees were always in sight, a constant reminder of the Caribbean beauty surrounding us. The island scene here is just so captivating, it truly feels like another world. From the vibrant marine life to the breathtaking sunsets, every moment felt special. Speaking of marine life, the free snorkeling was an absolute highlight! I’m still dreaming of the moment I saw that sea turtle gliding gracefully through the clear water, a moment I truly won't forget. But it wasn't just turtles; we spotted so many colorful fish, and discovered beautiful starfish and seashells near the reef – it felt like an underwater wonderland. The resort makes it so easy to grab a snorkeling mask and just dive in whenever you feel like it. Even beyond the water, the natural beauty of the resort is incredible. Walking through the manicured gardens, surrounded by exotic flowers and the shade of towering palm trees, felt like a peaceful escape. The resort's design perfectly blends with the environment, making you feel completely immersed in nature. And after a day full of sun and sea, the tranquil beach scene at dusk, with palm tree silhouettes against a vibrant sky, made for the most romantic evenings. Watching the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky with fiery colors, was a daily ritual we cherished. It truly felt like we were in an untouched paradise, completely immersed in the beauty of Jamaica. Every aspect of Couples Swept Away Negril, from its pristine beachfront to its lush island scenery, contributes to an unforgettable, picture-perfect vacation, making you understand why it's so easy to be completely 'swept away'.
