... Read moreHey everyone! If you're like me and always on the hunt for those unique spots that feel like a hidden gem, then you HAVE to hear about Florida's incredible blue lagoons. I recently visited both Miranda Lagoon in San Antonio and Epperson Lagoon in Wesley Chapel, and let me tell you, they were even better than I imagined. Forget driving 3 hours from Miami just for a beach – these spots offer a totally different kind of aquatic adventure! First up, Miranda Lagoon. Imagine stepping into a postcard – that’s what it felt like. The water is unbelievably clear and has that stunning blue hue you usually only see in tropical brochures. It's truly a place to relax and soak in the sun. I spent most of my time simply floating, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It's less about high-octane thrills and more about serene beauty, perfect if you're looking for a tranquil escape. Then there's Epperson Lagoon, which is a whole different vibe, equally amazing! This place is buzzing with energy. If you're after some serious fun, this is it. They've got an impressive Inflatable Obstacle Course that's a blast to try and conquer. I also loved the Water slides and exploring the 'Little Island.' My absolute favorite was trying out the Aquaolide – it’s such a unique water activity that really gets your adrenaline going. It feels like a mini water park but with the beauty of a natural-looking blue lagoon. It's fantastic for families, friends, or even a solo trip if you want to challenge yourself on the obstacles! Thinking about visiting? Here are a few practical tips from my trip. Admission to both lagoons typically runs around $42 per person, so be sure to budget for that. I recommend checking their websites for current pricing and to book your tickets in advance, especially if you're going during peak season or for your Spring Break Plans, as they can get quite busy. Wear plenty of sunscreen, bring a towel, and definitely pack a waterproof phone case to capture all the amazing moments. Both lagoons have concessions, but you might want to bring your own snacks and drinks to save a bit. Ultimately, whether you’re seeking relaxation or an adventurous splash, these #bluelagoon destinations in #centralflorida are absolutely worth the visit. They truly are some #reelsecretspots that more people need to experience!
