Never thought there would be today
Our first forest, Bolaven, South Laos...
Day 1:
- Across the checkpoint > Tadfan Falls

ถ้าพูดถึงทริปโบลาเวน ลาวใต้ จุดที่เรา “อยากให้ทุกคนแวะ” คือ น้ำตกตาดเยือง (Tad Yuang) เพราะเป็นน้ำตกที่เข้าถึงง่ายกว่าเส้นเดินป่าลึกๆ แต่ได้ฟีลธรรมชาติแบบเต็มๆ เหมาะมากสำหรับคนที่ยังไม่ชัวร์เรื่องการเข้าป่า หรืออยากมีจุดพักขาก่อนเริ่มไปลานกางเต็นท์ ประสบการณ์ตรงของเรา น้ำตกตาดเยืองมีจุดเด่นคือ “ศาลาพัก” (เป็นเหมือนมุมให้หลบละอองน้ำ/นั่งพัก/ถ่ายรูป) และบรรยากาศจะชุ่มมากกก แบบเดินเข้าไปใกล้ๆ แล้วตัวเปียกง่ายสุดๆ แนะนำให้เตรียมเสื้อกันฝนบางๆ หรือเสื้อคลุมที่แห้งไวไปด้วย จะได้ไม่หนาวตอนขึ้นรถต่อ โดยเฉพาะถ้าไปช่วงเช้าหรือวันที่อากาศเย็น เรื่องการแต่งตัว เราว่ารองเท้าดีๆ สำคัญไม่แพ้กัน ถึงตาดเยืองจะไม่ได้โหดเท่าเส้นลุยโคลนไปลานกางเต็นท์ แต่พื้นแถวๆ น้ำตกมักจะลื่น มีดินชื้น/หินเปียก/รากไม้ ถ้าใส่รองเท้าพื้นเรียบมีสิทธิ์ไถลได้เลย สำหรับเราแนวรองเท้าหุ้มข้อหรือรองเท้าเดินป่าพื้นเกาะดีๆ จะอุ่นใจกว่า (ยิ่งถ้าทริปเดียวกันมีแพลนไปเดินต่อด้วย ยิ่งคุ้ม) มุมถ่ายรูปที่เราชอบของน้ำตกตาดเยืองคือ 1) มุมกว้างที่เห็นสายน้ำตกลงมาเต็มเฟรม 2) มุมศาลาแบบมีละอองน้ำ ทำให้ภาพดูมีมู้ดธรรมชาติ 3) ถ่ายย้อนแสงช่วงบ่ายแก่ๆ จะได้ฟีลเขียวชุ่มๆ แบบในรูปคอลลาจทริปโบลาเวนเลย แต่ต้องระวังละอองน้ำโดนเลนส์ โทรศัพท์/กล้องควรพกผ้าเช็ดเลนส์หรือทิชชู่แห้งติดตัว ทริคเล็กๆ ที่ช่วยให้แวะตาดเยืองแล้วสนุกขึ้น: - เอาถุงซิป/ซองกันน้ำใส่มือถือไว้ เผื่อโดนละอองน้ำแบบไม่รู้ตัว - พกน้ำดื่มไว้จิบ เพราะอากาศเย็นทำให้เราลืมดื่มน้ำ แต่เดินขึ้นลงก็เหนื่อยเหมือนกัน - ถ้าไปช่วงฝน พื้นจะลื่นเป็นพิเศษ เดินก้าวสั้นๆ คุมทรงเหมือนที่เราใช้ตอนลุยโคลนในโบลาเวน สำหรับคนที่กำลังแพลนไปโบลาเวนแล้วลังเลว่าจะเลือกแวะที่ไหนดี เราว่าน้ำตกตาดเยืองเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นที่ดีมาก ได้ทั้งวิว ได้พัก ได้รูป และช่วยปรับร่างกาย/ใจให้พร้อมก่อนจะไปจุดที่แอดเวนเจอร์กว่านี้อย่างเส้นทางลานกางเต็นท์หรือจุดชมพระอาทิตย์ตก-ทะเลดาวบนที่สูง
