The doctor warned every time he took him to check... so he wanted to tell all the parents. 🤍
The 5 diseases that doctors remind young parents most often 🤍
Phoebus is not, but the doctor warned every time, so he gathered it for the benefit of another house.
Since Phoebus, I felt that each visit to the doctor wasn't just about weighing, measuring height, or vaccinating.
What doctors often reiterate is...
"When young children are sick, the most important thing is that their parents observe the symptoms."
Because the child can't tell us where it hurts, how tired, or whether it's hard to breathe.
Phoebus is lucky to have never had these diseases. ❤️
But I felt that the doctor's repeated warning made us more comfortable, because if one day you were really sick, at least we would know what kind of symptoms you could take care of at home and what kind of symptoms you shouldn't wait for.
So I gathered the five most common diseases the doctor mentioned in one post.
Not written to scare everyone
But they want their parents to know more than worry.
Why do young children get sick so easily?
During the age of 0-2 years, the child's immune system is not fully developed. The body is learning to build a landscape for different pathogens.
Children like to put their hands in their mouths, crawl, hold toys, and when they start socializing, whether they are older people going to school, people in their homes, or going out to different places, they are more likely to be infected.
This is why pediatricians often reiterate the observation of symptoms rather than the recognition of disease names.
1.RSV
The disease that doctors often warn of most during the rainy season.
RSV is a virus that causes infections of the respiratory tract, more common in children under two years of age, especially those younger than six months of age.
In older children, it can be just an ordinary cold.
But in young children, the infection can reach bronchioles and lungs, exhausting breathing to the hospital.
Initial symptoms
* Fever
* Snot
* Cough
* Reduced suckling
* More bent than usual
Danger sign.
* Breathe fast
* Dent chest
* Flare nose wings
* Dent ribs every time you breathe
* Green mouth
* Can't suck
* seep down
Research has shown that premature children, cardiac children and chronic lung disease children are more likely to develop severe symptoms than normal children.
2.Pneumonia (Pneumonia)
Pneumonia is caused by both viruses and bacteria.
Many times, it starts like an ordinary cold.
But when the infection enters the lungs, the child begins to panting, breathe quickly, and become tired more easily.
Symptoms
* Fever
* Cough
* Breathe fast
* seep
* Eat little milk
* Easy to get tired
Hurry and see a doctor if
* Dent chest
* Difficult to breathe
* Green mouth
* Abnormal seepage
* Can't eat
The World Health Organization (WHO) uses respiratory rate and dent chest symptoms as one of the key indicators of pneumonia in children.
3. Rotavirus
Not scary because of diarrhea, but because of "dehydration."
Rotavirus is a major cause of severe diarrhea in young children worldwide.
Most children will have
* Liquid taking
* Vomiting
* Fever
* Anorexia
What the doctor is most concerned about is not the symptoms.
But "dehydration."
Observe easily.
* Dry mouth
* Cry without tears
* Little urine
* Deep eyes
* seep
* Cold feet hands
If you can't vomit or take a lot of liquid, see a doctor immediately because young children lose water many times faster than adults.
4. Hand, foot, mouth disease
It is a common disease in young children, especially during outbreaks in young children's centers and schools.
The cause was caused by a virus in the Enterovirus group.
Symptoms
* Fever
* Sore mouth
* Mouth wound
* Blister on hands, feet or buttocks
Most can heal on their own within about 7-10 days.
But if there's a neurological condition, see a doctor immediately.
Danger sign.
* Very seep
* repeated vomiting
* Seizure
* Unusually flinching
* Staggered walk
* Abnormal breathing
5. Influenza
Many people think it's a common cold.
But for young children, influenza can cause complications such as
* Pneumonia
* Middle ear inflammation
* Dehydrated
* Seizures from high fever
Symptoms
* Acute high fever
* Cough
* Snot
* Sore throat
* aches
* seep
Children from six months old and above should receive the flu vaccine every year because there is a lot of data confirming that they can reduce hospital sleep and reduce the severity of the disease.
So when should I rush to the hospital?
No matter what disease, if you have these symptoms, you shouldn't wait to see them.
🚨 Fast breathing or shortness of breath.
🚨. Dent chest.
🚨. Green mouth or lips.
🚨 can't eat milk or drink water.
🚨 seep, wake up hard.
🚨 vomit every time you eat.
🚨. Liquid until suspected of dehydration.
🚨. Seizure.
🚨 high fever in combination with collapse.
Best protected
Even without a 100% preventable way.
But the small things you do every day reduce the risk.
🤍 Wash your hands often.
🤍 Get the vaccine on schedule.
🤍 Influenza vaccination every year when they reach age.
🤍 Avoid crowded places during outbreaks.
🤍 regularly clean toys, milk bottles and items that the baby touches.
🤍 If possible, breastfeeding in the early stages of life promotes partial immunity and reduces the risk of multiple infections.
From Mother Phoebus. 🤍
Phoebus doesn't have these diseases, and I hope I don't have to. 😊
But every time you check it out, the doctor always reminds me
"Young children change symptoms quickly. It's important for parents to observe the symptoms."
So I collected what the doctor taught, combined with information from treatment guidelines and medical research, and compiled it in easy-to-read language to help other parents with information to observe their children as I kept them.
Hopefully it's a post that "doesn't scare anyone," but it warms many homes up and knows what to do if one day your child is sick. 🤍
