Ovulation tests don’t confirm ovulation. They give you a heads-up that your body is getting ready to release an egg. What they measure is luteinizing hormone (LH). LH rises before ovulation. It’s your body saying, “we’re close.” So a positive ovulation test doesn’t mean the egg is releasing
