You Can’t Control Their Free Will — And That’s Not Your Problem
Their choice to walk away, ghost, or disappear without explanation? That was their free will. And the consequences are theirs too. Your only job is your own healing and what you need to focus on now.
I've personally struggled with accepting that I can't control other people's choices, especially when they've walked away without explanation or ghosted me in important relationships. It took a while for me to fully embrace that their free will means they are responsible for their actions—and their consequences, not me. Instead of ruminating on their reasons or blaming myself, I started focusing on my healing journey, which was transformative. In my experience, prioritizing self-care and emotional recovery helped me rebuild confidence and find peace. Practices like journaling, meditation, and seeking positive communities, including tarot groups, provided valuable insights and support. Tarot readings, in particular, helped me understand the energy around relationships and guided me on what to release and what to nurture. Accepting that I can't control others allowed me to set healthier boundaries and avoid the trap of emotional dependency. This shift empowered me to reclaim my power and focus on what truly matters: my well-being and growth. Remember, when people exercise free will to ghost or disappear, their choices are theirs alone. Your job is your own healing—not carrying the weight of their decisions.
