What I did today!
Today could be described very fun. I had a lot of fun doing a lot of things. Sometimes days like this happen and I think that somehow during the night all the mental illness left my body. Today was a rollercoaster of emotions and activities! Being on a high during a manic episode can feel liberating yet chaotic. I took a joyful bus ride to school and shared heartfelt moments helping my sister move into her dorm, which was a fond throwback to my freshman year. I tackled cooking by preparing three lasagnas, ensuring to freeze some for later delight. My trip to Walmart was another adventure, where I got excited about the fresh ingredients available, especially ginger for my soothing tea. I also assembled a new bookshelf—an activity that brought a sense of accomplishment to my day. It's crucial to remember that while days like these can be exhilarating, they are often fleeting. Learning to navigate the ups and downs is key, and finding joy in daily activities can make a significant difference in managing life with bipolar disorder.
