My voice...That I just heard.

I've lived almost half my life.

Without ever hearing his own voice.

I'm used to listening to other people's voices.

Dad's voice.

Teacher's voice

The voice of society.

The voice that says

What's right? What should? What's good?

And I followed.

Until one day

Life brought me to a point of silence.

Not outside silence.

But the silence inside.

What I used to pursue.

Starting to have no meaning as before.

What used to be confident began to shake.

I'm not sure what I've always done.

Is it really "me"?

In that silence.

Something gradually appears.

Not loud. Not clear. No rush.

But it's always there.

It's not ordered. It's not forced.

Didn't say what I had to be.

It's just "know."

know what yeah Know what isn't.

And that was the first time.

Where I started hearing "my own voice."

It's not a confident voice.

Not a brave voice.

But it's a "real" sound.

True until sometimes

I didn't even dare listen to it.

Because of that sound.

Didn't always take me in a safe way.

It doesn't take me in a way that others understand.

But it brought me back to myself.

I started trying to listen to it a little bit at a time.

Let's believe it a little bit at a time.

Even it goes against what I've been.

Virtually all.

It's not that easy.

Because every time I choose to listen to that sound,

I have to release something.

Release a picture of "good boy."

Release the demand for acceptance.

Let go of the fear of not being good enough.

But in the meantime,

I got something back.

I started to feel like I was "alive."

Not just following

Or trying to be who

But is "being."

And that's it.

Is the beginning of my life.
