On July 31, PCSO received a call about a hiker in distress near Newman Peak. He was part of a crew working on communication towers. Deputies, along with a Border Patrol Search, Trauma and Rescue (BORSTAR) agent responded in PCSO‘s Huey helicopter and hoisted the man to safety.

On February 10, PCSO received a call about an injured hiker on the Siphon Draw trail in the superstition mountains. A 47-year-old woman slipped off the trail and injured her ankle. Around 12:30 PM, PCSO‘s A-Star helicopter, Pinal Air 2, arrived and hoisted her off the mountain. Do you want to work

On February 27, just before midnight, a PCSO deputy stopped a vehicle on Interstate 10 near Eloy. Five men bailed out of the cabin of the truck and ran away. Six more were hiding in the bed. Border patrol arrived and took custody of them.

In January, PCSO Search and Rescue deputies were called to a dirt bike crash near Cottonwood Canyon. The rider was airlifted out and transferred to other transportation to the hospital. Unfortunately, off-road vehicle crashes are extremely common in that area. People enjoying their time this spring

On March 1, around 10 a.m., PCSO received reports that a 41-year-old man had fallen while hiking the Flat Iron Trail. Search and Rescue deputies aboard Air 2 quickly responded, provided medical care, and safely hoisted him down to Supersition Fire/Medical crews.
