Need vs Want ?
Need vs Want Classification
Help make our revenue-expenditure account more clear.
Because many times we write down the expenses so much that we don't see what part of the money is really needed and what part is just the desire.
How to use
1. Write down all expenses. Same as before.
2. Tag Need or Want
• Need for Survival and Quality of Life Essentials such as House Rent, Water Fee, Basic Diet, Medical Expenses
• Want wishful but unnecessary things such as daily fresh coffee, home decor, new clothes
3. Analyze the cut.
• Let's start with Want first, because if we reduce here, the money will be left immediately.
• Need. If you can't avoid it, you have to stay. But if you have something to Need but reduce it, such as changing the net, reducing some oil, try to adjust it.
4. If the money is not enough
• Earn more income, such as part-time work, online sales, small investments
The advantages of this method
• The financial picture is clearer than just "how much is paid per month?"
• Reduce money stress because we know what to avoid.
• Make savings and investment plans practical
